Suzuki Going To Launch GSX-S1000 ABS Soon In India

The all new Suzuki GSX-S1000 set for their Worldwide launch later this year. Suzuki Motorcycle India has confirmed the launch of Super sportbike via (Twitter). They have called it a “Pure Sport Roadster“.

The new GSX S1000 is inspired from the fully faired super sportbike Suzuki GSX-R1000. Whereas New GSX S1000 is a naked sports motorcycle. This thrilling machine is powered by same engine as the GSX-R1000,
it is equipped with 999cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, DOHC liquid-cooled motor. A long-stroke design with a 73.4 mm bore and a 59.0 mm stroke. The mill is capable of producing power of 145hp at 9,500rpm.

The new Suzuki GSX-S1000 is also featured with KYB inverted front fork, fully adjustable rear shock and 6-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. The braking duty is been done by radial Brembo mono-block system, and the bike would get ABS from Bosch. The overall dimensions of the GSX S1000 would be 2,115 mm length, 795 mm width and 1,080 mm height with the ground clearance of 140 mm and 815 mm seat height. The bike will have 17 liters of fuel tank capacity . The Suzuki GSX-S1000 would be pitched against the likes; BMW S1000R, Honda CB1000R, Kawasaki Z1000 and Triumph Speed Triple. Other Salient Features:-
Three Mode Traction Control System

·Mode one is for sport riding with minimal intervention from the system

·Mode two offers a balance that is ideal for typical road conditions.

·Mode three gives maximal traction control for riding in poor conditions.

·A comprehensive LCD instrument cluster with tachometer, speedometer, odometer as well as water temperature gauge along with digital clock, dual trip meter, gear position indicator etc.
Colors Options are :- Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray, Candy Daring Red and Metallic Triton Blue.
