Yamaha India Going To Launch 125cc Motorcycle On 17th April- Saluto Coming?

Yamaha Motorcycle India is going to launch another 125cc executive segment motorbike on 17th April that is day after tomorrow. Although, Yamaha is keeping their lips tight on the details of the model but it is expected that they are going to launch "Saluto" which our fellow website Motorbeam had spied a little earlier. As per the spy pics the bike looks mixture of Yamaha Gladiator and Yamaha YBR 125, both the bikes are equipped with 125cc engine but tuned differently to target different audience, moreover the Gladiator's 125cc mill is mated to 5-speed gear transmission whereas the YBR's engine is mated to 4-speed. Now it is to be seen that, what Yamaha is up to with this all new model, one thing is clear that Yamaha intends to refresh its commuter segment also as they have done with the FZ, SZ and their Alpha scooter.

Yamaha is more likely to plonk a new engine which would be equipped with the Yamaha patent Blue Core Technology. By doing this Yamaha will ensure the perfect balance of Power and fuel economy and will be able to come again into play against the segment leader Honda CB Shine as Honda has also refreshed their product line up recently featuring their patent HET technology into the CB Shine and launching it by the name of Honda CB Shine DX.

Let's wait and watch what will come from the Pandora box of Yamaha day after tomorrow.
