Yamaha Launches 2014 SZ-RR Version 2.0

  • Oct 20, 2014
  • |   Comments
Yamaha India is committed to update all of its product portfolio, continuing what they have started with FZ series today Yamaha Motorcycles India has launched 2014 SZ-RR Version 2.0 with same Blue Core Technology equipped 149cc engine borrowed from FZ Version 2.0 but without Fuel Injection System.

The new SZ-RR has received the major change in terms of latest engine with new Blue Core Technology. Yamaha has claimed better fuel economy to the extent of 11% with the help of new technology. The new SZ-RR will remain delivering same Power and Torque figures contrary to the FZ V2.0 series which witnessed the drop in Power and Torque figures with the same new 149cc engine. The FZ Version 2.0 was launched with standard Fuel Injection System whereas the SZ-RR Version 2.0 will continue with the carburetor.

The 2014 SZ-RR V2.0 has also received cosmetic changes with some other nick knacks like Tubeless tyres, new revised analog instrument cluster and new seat. The bikes remains to tip the scale with same 134Kg as kerb weight with same 14L fuel capacity.

The bike comes in three refreshed color schemes:
  • Red Dash
  • Ivory White
  • Green Arrow

Yamaha is charging around Rs 4000 more than the older version SZ-RR which seems justified for a all new engine with latest technology and other small updations. The SZ-RR will be available at all leading Yamaha Showrooms at a price tag of Rs 65300 (Ex showroom, Delhi).
