Yamaha Launches Saluto With 125cc Blue Core Engine

Today at a launch event organised in Chennai Yamaha Motors India has launched a brand new 125cc commuter motorcycle- Saluto. The bike is targeted as family commuter motorbike with good mileage and comfort. Saluto is featured with brand new 125cc 4-stroke engine with Yamaha's patent Blue Core technology.

Yamaha has pitched the all new 125cc Saluto to cater the mass which is more focused on the mileage, style, comfort and price. The Saluto is being plonked with the new 125cc blue core engine capable of churning out 8.3 Ps of power at 7000 Rpm with peak 10.1 Nm of torque at 4500 Rpm, the engine is mated to 4-speed transmission. It is claimed that the bike is lightest in its segment hence adding to the fuel efficiency, which is claimed as 78 Kmpl.

Yamaha has successfuly kept the weight of the Saluto at 112 Kg which is indeed lowest for the 125cc segment. The Saluto is pitched against the bikes like Honda CB Shine DX and TVS Phoenix 125.
