Yamaha Launches Saluto With Disc Brake And New Colors

  • Jul 18, 2015
  • |   Comments
What it seems like a desperate effort to cement their position in 125cc commuter class motorcycles, Yamaha Motor India launched an updated Saluto with Disc Brake, new colors and all new graphics. The 125cc Yamaha Saluto was first introduced in April'15 without disc brake option and with limited color choices. Within just couple of months time Yamaha has updated their 125cc offering with new color, graphics and Disc brake which was all missing and much needed when the bike was first launched.

However, it is hard to understand why Yamaha did not come up with these features at the time of primary launch of the product. As they could easily equipped the Saluto with these features when it was first launched a couple of months back. The question arises here, was Yamaha in too hurry to introduce Saluto and launched it without these features? or they simply missed out the train and now realizing it they have taken this step. Whatsoever the reason it may be, it is indeed a welcoming step taken by the Japanese automaker and will certainly consolidate the Saluto's position against the rivals.

The new Yamaha Saluto retains exactly same underpinnings and there is no change whatsoever in the technical specifications of the bike, except the laden weight which is got marginally augmented due to the additional weight of disc brake assembly. The new updated Saluto will be available in four brand new colors- Glory Green, Bold Blue, Dashing White and Majestic Red. There will also be all new sporty graphics featured on the bike and the new Saluto with front Disc brake will be available at a price tag of Rs 54,500 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
