As we at BikesIndia rightly scooped recently, today, Bajaj has launched two Pulsar Adventure Sport bikes- Pulsar AS200 and AS150 (Adventure Sport) with half fairing. The semi-faired tourers from the house of Bajaj are the company's latest offering from Pulsar series. Bajaj has launched the bikes right after the Racing Sport Pulsar RS200 launch happened last month.

The Pulsar AS150 is powered by a 150 cc single-cylinder air-cooled 4-valve, triple spark DTS-i engine which is capable of producing good 17 Ps of power. The mill is mated to 5-speed transmission gear and it is the same engine which the company had showcased on the upcoming Pulsar 150NS at Turkey. Whereas, the bigger sibling- Pulsar AS200 is equipped with 200cc liquid cooled engine with 4-valve dtsi technology and delivers 23.5 Ps @ 9500 RPM of power and 18.35 NM torque, the machine is a direct lift from the naked sibling Pulsar 200NS and also mated to a 6-speed transmission gear.

The AS200 is featured with bigger 280mm front disc brakes and 230mm rear disc, whereas the smaller AS150 is featured with 240mm disc up front and the rear has 130mm standard drum brakes. Both AS150 and AS200 is based on the "Alpha Male" design theame coupled with projector headlamps, high raised windscreen and clip-on handlebars. The Adventure Sport series of bikes are intended to both comfortable city riding as well as occasional touring purpose. The twins are priced at very lucrative price tag of Rs 91550 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for Pulsar AS200 and Rs 79000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for AS150, both the bikes are available in three color options- Blue, Black and Red.
