Mahindra Mojo Caught Testing With ABS

  • Dec 14, 2015
  • |   Comments
As we clearly know that by 2017, all the motorcycles above 125cc should come fitted with ABS as standard and every manufacturer is already working on it and Mahindra is no exception. Recently, Mahindra had confirmed that there will be an ABS version of the Mojo and that it is under testing. It has not been long until the first spy shots of the Mojo testing with ABS have surfaced. Here in the spy-shots courtesy Motorbeam, we can see the Mahindra Mojo being fitted with ABS connected to a testing kit.

Looking closely at the spy-shots, we can see that the Mahindra Mojo will be getting a dual channel ABS (Read about ABS here). It is also expected to be a switchable-ABS, just switch off the ABS whenever you want to have fun. The rest of the bike will remain the same. This will just be an add-on feature for the Mojo.

The bike will be powered by the same 295cc liquid cooled engine mated to a six speed transmission. The engine produces 28 PS of power and 30 Nm of torque. Finally, coming to the pricing, we expect Mahindra to price it around Rs 15,000-20,000 more than the present outgoing model.
