Jorge Lorenzo wins the 2015 World championship at Valencia, in an enthralling finale. Lorenzo ran his trademark race up in the front, with the two Repsol Honda's at his heels. Both Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa came within 0.2 seconds of the leader before the chequered flag was thrown after the 30 lap showdown.

Valentino Rossi ran a phenomenal race from the back of the grid, gaining positions in every turn of the race. His electrifying start meant, he gained eight positions coming into the first corner of the race. He finished a distant fourth, twenty seconds behind Dani Pedrosa in third place, thus losing out the championship by a minor margin of five points.

Andrea Iannone crashed out on Lap 2, destroying the front of the Factory Ducati GP15, whereas the other Factory Ducati of Andrea Dovizioso finished in seventh place ahead of Aleix Espargaro on the Suzuki GSX-RR.

Jorge Lorenzo is crowned the 2015 MotoGP World champion at the end of Valencia. The riders remain in Valencia for a two day post season test on Tuesday and Wednesday where Michelin debuts their new tires. Stay tuned as we will bring the detailed race report ahead.
