Reports suggest the wait for Pulsar 200SS is finally going to end in March or early April'15 and for which the bookings have already begun which further proves the launch is soon. We had already broken the News of bookings opened for the awaited bike.But here comes a twist in the story as the official page of "Bajaj Pulsar'" posted a picture on Facebook which suggests that the upcoming bike from Bajaj will be named as RS200, this is as confusing for us as it might be for you. The picture posted on the page is clearly of the bike which we all have known till now as Pulsar 200SS.
There is a very catchy tagline also added to the post- "Fastest Pulsar Yet" this leads us to further more confusing state and we came to these many different conclusions :-- Bajaj has changed the name of Pulsar 200SS to RS200, for unknown reasons.
- Bajaj might bring Pulsar 200SS in two variants one with carburetor engine and the other with Fuel injected engine & ABS (as optional). May be the base variant which will carry the carbureted engine of its naked sibling will be called as Pulsar 200SS & the top end variant with fuel injection will be called RS200.
- Or there could be an all new 200cc model from Bajaj which will have some racing inspired DNA like KTM RC200, although there is remote chances of this to happen.
