Yamaha Launches MT-09 At Auto Expo 2016

India Yamaha Motor has launched the MT-09 naked roadster at the ongoing Auto Expo’16 at Delhi. At a launch event organized at Yamaha hall, Auto expo’16, today Yamaha officially launched the middle weight sportster MT-09. To grace the event John Abraham was present, who happens to be the brand ambassador for Yamaha in India.

The all new Yamaha MT-09 is equipped with a newly developed 847cc liquid-cooled in-line, triple-cylinder engine. The fueling is been done through multi port fuel injection system. The Yamaha MT 09 also comes equipped with ABS as standard and it promises to return a very respectable mileage figure of 19 kmpl. The new triple cylinder engine of MT-09 is capable of producing peak power of 115 Ps @ 10,000 rpm and 87.5 Nm of torque @ 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox.

Yamaha will import the new MT-09 as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and the new bike will be sold through limited Yamaha outlets across the country. The MT-09 is being priced at Rs 10.2 lacs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and will be available in two shades- Race Blue and Matt Grey.
