There are three types of people according to Kawasaki, short who are shorter than 5’7”, medium ones, who are in between 5’7” to 6’0” and the taller ones who are taller than 6’0”. Kawasaki showcased a concept named as ergo-fit and it is first employed in their recently showcased cruiser the Vulcan S. It isn’t something related to science fiction but, it is a mere concept of increasing and decreasing the dimensions of rider’s triangle of the Vulcan S. Kawasaki will only be charging for the ergo-fit parts and they’ll be fitted on to your Vulcan S free of cost by the dealer near you. It is a nice concept and will help every rider of any height to be easy on their bikes.
This concept will get more riders laying their hands over the Vulcan S than any other cruiser available in this segment with a lesser price tag too. For the first time big-bike owners its really hard to get used to with the bike but then when you’ll get the bike altered as per your physical requirements then what else you want.Vulcan S will come in for the medium-heighted person in factory settings. For taller riders, Kawasaki will move the foot-pegs and the handlebar a inch ahead from the stock position, while the seat will have a rear motion of 1 inch. For the shorter rider, it’ll be all opposite of the change done for the taller riders.
Kawasaki Vulcan S come with a 650cc liquid cooled parallel-twin motor. It is the same motor used in the ER-6n and the ER-6f(aka Ninja 650). The bike is plonked with 18in and 17in tyres at front and rear respectively. The Vulcan S is a motorcycle that carries the vintage traditional styling of a cruiser and have the refinement and cooling levels of the current generation superbikes. You can have many customization on your Vulcan S ranging from making it a bit more classical looking cruiser to a younger sports cruiser. You may think that it might be enough to trail the other cruisers in the market.By: Mohit Bhardwaj
