The next manufacturer coming up in the series is from Borgo Panigale, Italy. Ducati came back to India officially, after a series of mishaps from previous dealerships. Here are the outgoing models from Ducati, available in India.
With just a week's time remaining for the first official FP, the third and final pre season testing has come to an end at the Losail International circuit, Qatar. The following article will summarise the happenings in the three day final test.
I cannot stress on the fact that our roads have been getting dangerous by the day, main reason being the number of distractions people have gotten themselves into in today's fast paced lives and of course, because of the sheer number of new vehicles rolling out everyday! I began touring on my KTM Duke390 in 2014 and since then, my observations tell me that the traffic scene has gone from bad to worse all over the country and that also includes highway traffic. Here are 4 methods I follow while riding in the city and on the highway to prevent myself from being involved in an accident:
Any avid MotoGP follower would know that the GP bike of Ducati is named as Desmosedici RR. The reason behind this, is the legacy that's been followed for a very long time. While the valves in all conventional engines made use of cam and springs to operate, Ducati engineered an entirely different valve system known as the Desmodromic valves.
KTM launched the Duke 250 as a total surprise for everyone, including the media; though there were rumors going around about the launch. But on the other hand, the KTM Duke 200 is not an all new bike. It is merely an upgrade to the previous KTM Duke 200. And due to this, there are some differences between the Duke 250 and the Duke 200 that are more than just technical bits about the engine and performance. Yes, the Duke 250 does have substantially more power and torque over the 200, but there are some bits in the Duke 250 which the Duke 200 misses out on which we have listed down below.
Then we moved on to the BMW Motorrad stall. The bikes I was excited the most of about were the S1000R and S1000RR. These are the rock stars of their segment. BMW was not at all shy in showing off their line-up at the show. Apart from that BMW had K1600GT and GTL on display. These bikes are like sofas on two wheels and are ideal for touring. BMW left no stone unturned with their bike display.
Here we are, bring you an all new series listing out the Superbikes (mid-weights and above) on sale in India. To make it easier, the series of articles will go on manufacturer wise. Here comes Kawasaki, the manufacturer that sells the most numbers in terms of Superbikes.
KTM did quite a number on the Indian biking fraternity by launching the Duke 250 out of the blue. It is quite interesting that the KTM Duke 250 is a viable option for the Indian market, but the RC250 isn’t; but more on that later. We are here to compare the Duke 390 and the Duke 250 and see what is different.
The Irish Motorbike Show commenced at RDS in Dublin Ireland. We were given an early access to the event on the inauguration day and that means we had all the time in the world to click pictures of those beautiful bikes. I being a fan of racing, was thrilled to see the stall that was a tribute to late Isle of man TT and Road racing legend Joey Dunlop.
There is an old saying that says, don't trust anything unless you witness it, initially I wasn't very impressed with the Yamaha FZ25's looks that were shooting up on the Internet, but the whole impression changes when I saw the motorcycle in flesh. The eagerness started to grow more and more as the demand for the motorcycle started to increase in a flash, the people wanted to witness the motorcycle for its killer pricing and reliability simply because it is a Yamaha. So we at BikesIndia got our hands on the Yamaha FZ25 and here's how it surprised us.
