Our market needs 125cc motorcycles because 150cc are still considered premium and powerful, and not to mention expensive. On the other hand 100cc seems just too underpowered. Companies realized that with the 125cc class, the young crowd will also get interested with decent power on tap and better fuel economy leading to lower fuel bills.

Check out the specs of any bike, you will notice something in there that reads SOHC or DOHC. The full form of this is Single Overhead Camshaft and Double Overhead Camshaft. Types Of Motorcycle Racing- Speedway Racing

Speedway Racing falls under the Track Racing category. It is regulated by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). It goes back to as long as 1914. An American rider used the riding technique “Broadsiding” before 1914. By the 1920’s, this technique was used to race and it was known as “Short Track Racing” back then. So, let’s see what differentiates Speedway Racing from other sports.
