Here we are again, in the aftermath of Auto Expo searching for any survivors. All those motorcycles which managed to maintained headlines throughout the Auto Expo deserve a special mention. Among these motorcycles is Honda X-Blade, which made news because of its radical style and design. The X Blade is placed in Honda’s lineup near the same price point as Honda CB hornet, so let’s compare both of them and see which one is slightly better than the other ;)

It all began on a lovely day when a gentleman from India informed Donald Trump about the reduction in taxes on CBU’s has been reduced down to 50%. Trump, after receiving the call told the media that Thousands and Thousands of Indian bikes are sold in the US and they don’t even charge an extra dime for them.

We all know that DOT helmets are not considered in some parts of our country and they insist that we wear only ISI helmets, but yeah there are a lot of people who are very concerned about safety and also riders who go above 100kmph, for whom an ISI helmet is not a choice in terms of safety and comfort. So at that instance we prefer the DOT or ECE or SNELL certified helmet lids. One such company that produces DOT helmet is Axor.

When life was first breathed into 2 wheelers, they were just a cycle with an engine attached to it. As the engines became more powerful, there arose a need to go fast but still not kill ourselves in the process. So the simple frame which earlier accommodated just an engine had to transform drastically over the years in order to incorporate all the modern equipment’s we see on motorcycles today.

Motorcycle Crankshafts- All you need to know

The crankshaft is a mechanical part of an Internal Combustion (IC) engine which converts the reciprocating motion of a Piston into a rotational motion. In simple terms, a Crankshaft is a part that converts the energy from moving Pistons to drive the Flywheel. The Piston is attached to the Crankshaft via Connecting rods, which are in turn connected by using Crank Pins. A Flywheel is connected parallel to the Crankshaft in order to reduce the vibrations exerted by motion of the Pistons. The Flywheel also stabilizes the rotation in a multi cylinder four stroke engine.
