Often mentioned in main stats, looking at a new motorcycle spec sheet, but what do motorcycle Rake Angle actually mean and why would we need to know this? First, Rake (also called Caster) is the angle of a motorcycle’s steering head of frame. In the simplest terms, Rake and Trail are the major force in determining the steering and handling characteristics of our motorcycles.

Marc Marquez made his fastest lap of the race to take over the dominating Danilo Petrucci clinching his fourth victory of the season. Danilo Petrucci rode an incredible race from start to finish and ended up at P2. Andrea Dovizioso held up his nerves in these tricky conditions for a podium position, and is now equal on points with Marquez. Maverick Viñales finishes at P4 grabbing some important points for the Championship.
Movistar Yamaha's Maverick Viñales took a stunning pole position at Misano after a tight fit with Andrea Dovizioso. Championship leader Dovi starts just behind from the middle of the front row.
