Relationship Between Fuel Economy And Constant Speed

  • Dec 1, 2016
  • |   Comments
How can you reduce the consumption of fuel on a long ride? I am an avid rider who loves to go on long rides, especially the early morning rides with the cool breeze and reduced or nil traffic issues. Every time I went on a long ride I got 43-45 km/l on my YZF-R15 which was fairly a bit more than what I get in the city, or sometimes it’s the same. So I wanted to figure out a way on how to get more economy and reach my destination sooner.

World Of Motoring- The Grand Tour

  • Nov 29, 2016
  • |   Comments
Finally, after a really long time, we got to see Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May review cars, make fun of each other and blow sh*t up. To be frank, I really missed their show, that’s one of the few things that I watched online. I don’t watch TV because they show too much stupid stuff on it and because I’m traveling most of the time. So you know how eager I was to see these three on The Grand Tour by Amazon. After The Grand Tour released on 18 November, It broke records of all other shows featured on Amazon Prime.

Every tire consists of two parts mainly the tread and the carcass. Honda Rebel 300 and 500- First Impression

  • Nov 24, 2016
  • |   Comments
So Honda did something very surprising by unveiling upgrades to its cruiser motorcycles. What was even more surprising was the fact that both cruisers are 300cc and 500cc each, I thought Honda only made minor sticker upgrades to these mid and low capacity engines but not this time.

Adventure Touring Motorcycle- Reality or just another state of mind?

  • Nov 20, 2016
  • |   Comments
Speaking of adventure touring motorcycles, well I really feel that any motorcycle today has the capability to be called an adventure touring motorcycle. It doesn’t need to have long travel suspension, upright riding position, pannier racks, loads of torque, comfort or any of the other stuff these manufacturers sell in the name of adventure.

Suzuki V-Strom 250: Overview

  • Nov 17, 2016
  • |   Comments
If Kawasaki’s Versys- X300 and BMW’s G310 GS weren’t enough a choice to be happy with, well then Suzuki too has joined the small capacity adventure tourer segment, or let’s just say small capacity tourer segment. Next year, these motorcycles could literally create a row in the market but I think it would be a scenario of great excitement. It would be fun to observe and understand market dynamics as per what people choose from the three contenders, contenders of a niche motorcycle market just being born. I wish KTM India too had joined this bandwagon but they have, erm other priorities.
