2017 Kawasaki Versys-X 300- I can't believe it!

  • Nov 15, 2016
  • |   Comments
TVS BMW came up with the BMW G310 GS and I was able to digest it. Suzuki shot out their adventure version- the V Strom 250 and that too was digest- able. But when I saw Kawasaki feature the so called Versys- X 300 at EICMA, all hell broke loose. I headed out to see if the sun had set in the east. The news was of such magnitude, something has changed or shifted lately else how would Kawasaki come up with something that smart and innovative, a motorcycle that was easily derived from another motorcycle and only had some of its parts and tyres changed so that it fell under the ‘Versys’ category.

BMW G310 GS India Bound- The Ugly Duckling!

  • Nov 13, 2016
  • |   Comments
TVS- BMW has done an extremely sensible thing in the motorcycle market in India by introducing the baby GS, also known as BMW G310 GS. As per me, this is probably the most sensible thing a motorcycle manufacturer has done after KTM launched the Duke 390 in 2013. Speaking of the looks first, it looks like a typical baby GS, very similar to the BMW F 800 GS. If you look at it aesthetically, it looks ugly as hell.

Motorcycle Diaries- A Journey To Ladakh (Jispa- Sarchu)

  • Nov 11, 2016
  • |   Comments
I woke up to the mooing of cows in my warm tent, which was getting hot by the minute as the sun shined bright and hot at 7.30 AM. I thought the cows had entered the campsite and the fear of one of them crashing into my tent was annoying me. I first peeped out in a jiffy, only to see the cows grazing happily on a piece of land beside the campsite that was separated by a fence.

Motorcycle Diaries- A Journey To Ladakh (Keylong- Jispa)

  • Nov 9, 2016
  • |   Comments
Jispa was at an altitude of 10,500 feet which isn’t too much but it could tire you out if you underestimate it. I had used up too much of my energy in nailing the tent to the ground so my head began to feel heavy. It was a symptom of acute mountain sickness, something that I intended to avoid.

Yamaha YZF R15 V2.0- Ownership Experience By Rishath

  • Nov 8, 2016
  • |   Comments
Every teenager’s dream is to ride a bike, be it passion or showoff, so was mine. I loved bikes and cars not for their looks or brand, but for how they were built and how they rode. It was my daily task to look at bikes when I used to travel back home in the bus. I still wonder how machines can work at such high speeds and temperatures and can also run for days and years.

Tyres have an important place in automobiles. You can get it all done, the design, the engine, the interiors, but it just won’t run without any tyres. Motorcycle Throttle Blipping Or Rev Matching- All You Need To Know

  • Oct 31, 2016
  • |   Comments
Every time the clutch is disengaged, a downshift is made, and then the clutch is engaged again. At peak rpm and high speeds, just doing this would make a very bad damage to the engine's internal components and transmission. This is where Throttle Blipping method comes to your rescue.
